Things I have learned in 2005 (a stolen idea): -Avoid Deep Ellum on New Year’s Eve, unless you enjoy being
sexually harassed, in which case I say go right ahead. -Texas fans
prepare yourselves. USC might look like an equal match. Remember though… all you
have going for you is one player. We know what that’s like. We know what you’re
about to go through. Don’t get too cocky before hand, it only makes it worse
after. -Miami is not
like Mardi Gras. Will Smith you lied. Miami
is a horrible place that only leads to misery and heartache. Wait maybe it is
like New Orleans after all… -Road trips down to Dallas/Ft. Worth are not always the best
idea. Even if they involve a ridiculously hot guy. If you can’t get off Lancaster
road it doesn’t matter. No hot guy is worth a trip to Ft.
Worth. Sorry. -Andy’s bar in Denton
is the place to be if you would like to laugh your ass off….or get engaged. -Mick Mars is alive! -Having five guys that you barely know stay the night is not
always as creepy as it sounds. In fact it can very well turn out to be a
fantastic idea. -It’s probably not wise to try and outrun a train on foot. -The E-bob does exist! -Best friends are fantastic. Especially if they let you name
their children weird names like The E-bob. -Contrary to popular belief, Chicago
isn’t called the “Windy City”
simply because of the weather. It’s political. -Getting up at 5am
and driving 12 hours on a stomach full of only energy drinks only to spend the
next three nights sleeping in a basement is totally worth it. -A television show does not actually need dinosaurs to be
fascinating…only the possibility of dinosaurs. -Peyton Manning still sucks…I mean come on, losing to the
Chargers? Pathetic. -OU does actually know how to win bowl games. They’d just
forgotten for a little while, so leave them alone.

| Finals week is over. It was not a fun week. I slept at the library
Wednesday night. I was sick. It sucked. But now it's winter break which
means for the next month I can be found behind the register at Bed Bath
and Beyond. I'm working front end. This sucks. However, the Colts lost
and Chuck Long left...so that's exciting.

| Finals week is upon us. Five finals this week. I'm excited. Winter
break is less than a week away, but I'd rather it be over already. I'm
not looking forward to going back to work. Too many new people and too
many changes in the store. I'm really excited about 2006 though. I have
a good feeling about this year. Oh yeah and so I love this soundtrack.
I kind of want to see the movie again sometime soon even though I just
saw it. I like it.

| We're going to the Holiday Bowl. Not me (like I want a repeat of our
Orange Bowl trip), but we as in OU. It snowed today...Oklahoma snow.
When I move to Batavia I'll get to see real snow. I've been seeing a
lot of injured people lately and that reassures me about my career
choice. We're going to SXSW over spring break. It's official. Official
as in it's been stated outloud in the presence of other people, we
don't actually have any physical proof in the form of wristbands yet.
Soon.

| Ok so the Steelers lost. I'm ok with that. We'll get another shot in
the AFC championship. Plus the only reason they won is because they
have Rocky Calmus. Sure he's injured, but that doesn't matter. Anyway
it's scarf season so I'm excited.
